It has never been easier to fall out of your routine than now. I am guilty of that but it has been so hard to motivate myself when my routine now isn’t what it used to be. I thought Today’s post I would gather up some tips to help us stay healthy during quarantine that we could all benefit from.
1. Create A Healthy Routine
One way to stay healthy while you are home is to create a routine that is healthy such as having time to meal prep a healthy meal or waking up early to go on a morning walk daily. It is definitely easier to stick to something when you are in a routine.
2. Make Some Healthy Snacks
If you are bored and looking for something to do over quarantine, why not try out some new healthy snack recipes. My mom loves to make homemade oatmeal bars and they are so so good, maybe I’ll make some with her this next week so I can share the recipe next week.
3. Drink Water
This may seem like the easiest one on the list, but I struggle with this one the most. I don’t usually find myself that thirsty throughout the day and I hate forcing myself to drink water but its so so good for you and so important. If you struggle with this too, try out different types of water. My favorites are La Crox and ICE water.
4. Do an At-Home Workout
I have been wanting to jump into working out at home and I think next week will be when I dive into it. If you have weights at home then this is super easy for you, just hop on Youtube and figure out what you want to do. There are so many at home workouts on Youtube like dance workouts or yoga or HIIT and much more. Pinterest also has a lot of at home workouts that I use and love too!
5. Go Outside
Lastly, changing up your work scene or taking a break from work to get some fresh air can really help you from binging all the snacks in your pantry. We have a pool at our house so sometimes I like to go out there and sit in a chair and do my work. It is super relax and great to get some D!
