Happy New Year everyone! I hope y’all all had a safe and fun NYE! I am so excited for a new decade and a fresh start. I always feel so inspired in January ready to accomplish new things. In the past I haven’t done a word of the year but this year I decided to try it.
My word for 2020 is consistent. When I was thinking of how I wanted this year to go for me, the word that kept popping in my head was consistent. Some goals I have for this year are to eat healthier. From starting college in 2018, my diet has really slumped which is a part of being so busy in college but I really want to focus on getting back to being healthy. I don’t necessarily want to want to focus on losing weight because it never makes me feel happy, but I want to focus on working out and nourishing my body to help me feel good. I usually give up on diets half way through January which is why I want to be more consistent with health in the new year.
My second goal for 2020 is to invest more time with the Lord. I have not read my Bible in who knows how long so I really want to get back into that habit every night before bed. I feel like it’s time for me to connect back with the God and be more consistent with him. This past year was awesome but I struggled a lot and I think if I had been in the word, it would have helped me.
third and fourth, I want to be more consistent studying for school. I know this past semester was crazy busy and all I thought to myself at the end of the semester was that if I had started studying earlier, I would have eased up my stress a little. I also want to focus on my spending and budget money more. I graduate college in 2 years and have big plans these next few years and I need to focus on spending less.
Well, these are my goals for 2020 and I can’t wait to see all that I accomplish this year! I hope y’all have a blessed and happy New Year!
