Aloha y’all! I just got back from my senior trip to Hawaii and it was a blast! We did so many things and I’m so glad I got to spend quality time with my family before college. Hawaii was so fun so I decided I would share what we did with y’all for those of y’all headed to Hawaii sometime soon or you’re just curious!
Hiking
We went on a ton of hikes in Hawaii and I wasn’t very fond of the idea at first but once we started the hikes, it was so much fun! Diamond Head is a really fun hike! The view at the top of the entire ocean is amazing! Also when you get higher and higher up on the mountain, you can see the scenery of the city and mountains in the distance and it’s gorgeous. Another hike we did was Moana Falls. This hike was very rocky and steep but it showed the tropical side of Hawaii and it was gorgeous! There is a beautiful waterfall at the top and it’s worth the hike!

Beaches
Of course the beach is the best part of Hawaii! We stayed on two beaching in Oahu. We first stayed in Waikiki at the New Otani Hotel and the beach was amazing! It is one of the locals favorite beaches and it doesn’t get too busy like the beaches in the middle of Honolulu. It is also great in the morning because it’s not busy and the water is so calm. During the other half of our trip, we stayed on the North Shore. We stayed at Turtle Bay Resort and the beach was really nice! It is also a great beach for snorkeling! It is also a great beach for surfing so it was fun seeing the suffers at night while the sun set.

Food
Let me tell y’all, when I say we ate a lot, we really did eat A LOT! I can’t name everything but, my favorite places we ate were the food court at the Al Moana Mall. I really enjoyed the Ramen that I had there! I know y’all are probably thinking, “really, a food court?” But it was sooooo good! Another place that was super good was Dukes. I had there fish and chips and they were sooo yummy! Plus it had a really great view of the ocean! For a treat we had Leonard’s one night and it is like a Hawaiian donut! It’s so good, you won’t regret it!
Shopping
A great place to get cheap souvenirs is Aloha Stadium. Every Saturday there are tents around the entire stadium. They have so many options of things to pick up, such as pearls! I got a real pearl necklace for $6!

Hawaii is such a fun vacation! There are so many things to see and do! I definitely suggest going to anyone who has never been! Here’s a few more pictures from my trip, enjoy!
