Thanksgiving is 10 days away and then the festivities of Christmas begin. If you’re anything like me and my mom you like to get your shopping done for family and friends as early as possible so that you can enjoy the season. When it comes to figuring out what I want for Christmas I always struggle because I usually buy stuff I need throughout the year and by the time Christmas rolls around I have no idea what to ask for. I also always have that one friend that when I ask them what they want for Christmas they say nothing and give zero ideas. Luckily I have put together a list of 10 items that are hot right now for all of you struggling to come up with ideas
1.Statement Earrings
For all of you fashionistas out there statement earrings are super in right now. The ones that I see all the time on ladies are the kinds that have layers like a big ball a medium sized ball and a small ball or the kinds that are just string and they are layered like the balls too. They are also usually ombre colors so it can work with many different outfits. I love these earrings because they are so fun and if you usually only wear one pair of earrings its just fun to mix it up with a funky kind of earring now and then! (Francesca’s: Tegan Bauble Earrings in Hematite $20.00)
2. Slip-on Sneakers
Slip-on sneakers are one of my necessities in my life right now. I wear slip-on sneakers with everything because they are so comfortable and personally I think they look a lot better with jeans or leggings and a cute shirt than tennis shoes. I like these also as a gift because depending on where you get them it won’t break your budget!
(Target: Women’s Raquel Slip-On Satin Sneakers with Embellished Stones and Pearls – Mossimo Supply Co.™ $27.99)
3. A Mug and a Good Book
This is a great gift if you have an annual White elephant party with friends or secret Santa. During the year I usually don’t have a ton of time to sit down and get into a really good book so during the Christmas. One book that has really caught my eye is called The Hate You Give by Angie Thomas this book is about a girl named Starr who is 16 years old and she witnesses her childhood best friend get shot by a cop and she is the only one who knows what happened that night but if she tells someone she risks putting herself in danger. This book will have you on the edge of your seat and people will have a hard time pulling you away. Pair it with a cute mug and it makes for a perfect easy gift for any bookworm.
(Barnes and Noble: The Hate You Give $8.99, Psalms mug: Etsy $13.95)

If you love makeup and beauty products then Ipsy is a great subscription for you. This subscription only costs $10.00 a month and you 5 different kinds of beauty products each month from brands like Tarte, Makeup Revolution, Benefit, Urban Decay, and much more! I have been subscribed to Ipsy for about 5 months now and I haven’t been disappointed yet! You do have to fill out a survey of what kind of products you like and what your skin shade is and your hair type but after that its a breeze!
5. Sporty Outfit
For all, you sporty girls out there a cute workout outfit is definitely always something that is motivating when you are trying to pull your body out of bed on the 26th of December. I love a good outfit always but I love cute outfits especially when it comes to workout outfits. My favorite places to get inexpensive workout clothes are Marshalls and TjMaxx because sometimes you can find name brands at a discount which is always great! (Polyvore.com: $9 each)
6. Monogrammed Sweatshirt
One thing that has been really popular over the past year is monograms and they are seen everywhere from hats to jackets to shoes. This is a great way to add a personal touch to any gift and there are always so many choices of things to monogram.
7. Fitbit
Fitbits are a great gift for Christmas and just in time for the New Year to get that resolution started! I have been using my fit bit for 2 years now and I never take it off.
